Vacant Home Staging

This past weekend was a busy one for Nancy Kates Interiors. My team (volunteers consisting of my husband, brother-in-law, sister and daughter) and I staged a vacant home in Newtown Square.

The process began late on Friday afternoon with loading everything into the truck from my garage, which is my current storage area. Definitely going to be looking into a real storage facility very soon. It's getting to the point where we can barely walk through our garage!

(Truck is all loaded up and ready to go.)

(Uh oh, I forgot this chair! Good thing it fit in my car.)

Everything was going smoothly -- furniture was all unloaded and put in its place, and the girls were working on accessorizing while the guys were putting together a small table I purchased for the kitchen. Well that small table turned into a bigger production than I thought! And next up was a dresser for the Master bedroom that needed to be put together. Wish I had taken a picture of the giant bag of nuts, bolts and screws that were required to assemble that bad boy! Let's just say it got late, so my assembly crew had to return the next day to finish. It took a total of four hours!!

(Here they are taking a break from the massive dresser project. Having a little fun demonstrating my inhale/exhale prints!)

Everything worked out in the end, just took a little longer than expected! Thank God my employees work for free!!

If you or any of your friends or family are looking for a fabulous townhouse in the Newtown Square/West Chester area, be sure to check out this home (see link below).
