It's crunch time! Only one week left until the final reveal for the One Room Challenge.
This past week was a bit slow on progress. I had a big staging job that I was preparing for all week, and I spent the past two days on that installation.
Here's what we did get accomplished.
The new ceiling fan was installed. I love this more modern look as opposed to the ones with the multiple lights with globes. Think I might pick up a few of these for my own home!
Also installed the sconces on the shiplap wall. I spray painted them with Rust-Oleum Metallic Paint & Primer In One in Satin Bronze. I'm loving the way the muted gold looks against the navy walls.
Last but not least, I painted the old dresser and updated the drawer pulls. Here is a reminder of what it used to look like.
And here it is now. I think it actually looks pretty amazing! Who would have thought??
I have a few projects left (finding nightstands, painting a
chest of drawers, sewing curtains and pillows) which I'm sure I can get done. The one item that concerns me is the carpeting. Not sure if it's going to arrive on time, so I may be doing a final reveal with the green carpets. Let's all pray for a miracle!!
