One Room Challenge - Week 1 Master Bedroom
Hey Everyone -- I'm back!! It's been a while since I've posted anything, but I'm excited to announce that I will be a guest participant in the One Room Challenge. For those of you who aren’t familiar with it, every spring and fall 20 design bloggers are selected to take part in a challenge to transform a room in 6 weeks. Along with the 20 featured designers, anyone with a design blog is welcome to join in as a guest participant. This is my first One Room Challenge, and I am so excited (and a little nervous!!) to join in.
For my first One Room Challenge, I am going to be working on transforming a master bedroom. The home has been almost entirely renovated and redecorated, but this one bedroom has not been touched in years. The bed was purchased a few years ago and is the only piece that will remain.
Here a few of the before photos:
The homeowner is a huge fan of Fixer Upper, so we are going for a Joanna Gaines inspired room. I'm thinking of doing a shiplap accent wall, but we will have to see how that goes!
Here are some inspiration photos:
I am a little behind in getting this first post up, so I am working on the plan for this room and will share it on my next post on Thursday.
